NZTE Funding

Firestation is an accredited service provider for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. Your business may be eligible for the NZTE Capability Voucher Scheme, which helps eligible businesses pay for certain Business Development services offered by Firestation.

The funding can cover up to 50% of the cost of a programme or service, up to $5,000 a year.

Our services and programmes eligible for NZTE funding are:

Accelerate Programme A ten-month programme focused on tripling the business’ growth rate.

You get:
• 20 x 2-hour sessions with a blend of delivered content and facilitated group discussion across five topics
• 3 x 2-hour one-on-one business development sessions.

Sales Strategies | Pitching and Pricing | Leadership and Culture | Marketing and Brand | Strategic Planning and Goal Setting

Incubate Programme

Minimum 6 participants required

Incubate is a 12-week business development programme for businesses that are under two years old or still grappling to establish a sustainable business.

Participants will receive business development sessions in both group & one-on-one sessions plus training modules to build business capability.

Kindle gives the participants business development & training to set goals, implement actions & increase overall success through business planning to help them work on their enterprise.

Topics covered include:
Growth Mindset | Marketing Essentials | Sales Strategies | Employment Essentials | Online Marketing | Business Essentials | Secrets of Tax & Xero | Pitching & Pricing.

Inner Circles

 

Firestation’s group training and facilitated discussions are called ‘Circles’, a ten series programme of 2 hour sessions.

They include a 60-minute training session on a key area of business followed by facilitated group discussion on how to implement the learnings in each participant’s business.

Each session closes with a commitment to 30/60/90 day actions aligned with business’s longer term goals.

Circles are limited to a maximum of eight members to ensure everyone can discuss their challenges, successes and actions.

Innovation | Strategic Planning | Effective Governance | Principles of Lean | Raising Finance | Negotiation | Recruitment | Understanding Financials | Successful Coaching | Engagement | Brand | Culture.

Business Mastery Series

Minimum 4 participants required.

A series of business training modules designed for the business owners & senior managers to increase their knowledge & skills to build sustainable & high growth organisations.

Sessions are 2-hours & held fortnightly.

EQ Leadership Survey

 

EQ Leadership Surveys explores your leadership capability across the five core elements of Emotional Intelligence; Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Social Awareness, Social Skills, Self-Motivation.

It builds an understanding of your primary leadership styles and your level of mastery. The 360-degree surveys enable you to become aware of how you are perceived as a leader by others and compare this to how you view yourself.

From the information gathered we work with you to develop a leadership development plan to improve your leadership skills.

Includes a two-hour session to debrief the survey results and build a leadership development plan.

Explode Masterclass Series A mix of one-on-one and group training programmes for six months.

Explode MasterClass programme includes:

•             6 x 2-hour monthly one-on-one business development sessions to develop a growth plan for your business.

•             6 x Inner Circle – 2-hour monthly group training and facilitated discussions. This includes 30-minute training session on a key area of business (Leadership, operations, financials, sales, marketing etc) followed by facilitated group discussion on how to implement the learnings in each participant’s business.

•             3 x Ignition Workshops – Half-day workshops designed for the business owner, CEO, leadership team and senior staff. Focused on accelerating customer growth, leadership capability, brand engagement, organisational culture and governance. The workshops can be tailored to suit your business. Participants can select three topics from Sales Ignition, Leadership Ignition, Brand Ignition or Team Ignition.

FireClub Development Programme A mix of one-on-one and group training programmes for ten months. Our FireClub Development Programme includes:

•             2-hour monthly one-on-one business development sessions.

•             2-hour monthly group training and facilitated discussions.

The curriculum for the ten month’s group training includes (one topic per session):

Ignition Workshops

 

Half-day workshops designed for the business owner, CEO, leadership team and senior staff.

Focused on accelerating customer growth, leadership capability, brand engagement, organisational culture and governance. The workshops can be tailored to suit your business and run independently of coaching and other programmes.

Topics include:

Sales Ignition | Leadership Ignition | Team Ignition | Facilitation

Leadership Development Six months of one-on-one monthly development sessions to build and develop leadership capability.

Each session is two hours and includes facilitated discussion on progress made, challenges and successes over the preceding month and captures actions for the next month.

Sales Leadership Development Programme Six months of one-on-one development sessions to build and develop sales and leadership capability.

Each two-hour session includes 30-minutes training on a key area of sales leadership, followed by facilitated discussion on how to implement the learnings in the business. Also covered is progress made, challenges and successes over the preceding month and concludes by capturing actions for the next month.

These sessions embed a business development culture in the business by instilling disciplines and behaviours to ignite customer growth.

Leadership | Customer systems | Call programmes | Sales reporting | Pitching | Pricing | Differentiation | Staff incentives.

Strategic Plan Development Working one-on-one with a Firestation works to build a growth or strategic plan for the business. This is a six month programme of ten sessions.

The plan establishes and clarifies a clear vision, purpose and goals of the business as well as the timeframe for accomplishment. Each session includes time to discuss significant opportunities and challenges of the business and for the business owner to be held accountable for 30/60/90 day actions.
